That may be true this year, but over the last decade, SK has been BY FAR the most consistent winner in NKy and better than Cov Cath most years.

 

Furthermore, BW and Cov Cath both are benefitting from substandard football programs in Boone County. Take that player migration away, and both programs come back to earth!

Just to set the record straight, Beechwood has won several state championships when Mayfield was in their class.

You probably didn't see my post VoR from looking at the times, the record is now straight, everyone, either stick to the topic or don't post in this thread. If you have another topic you want to discuss start a thread for it.

Even if Highlands and CovCath were to be realigned into different classes, I believe these two schools will continue to play every year..

Hopefully we have a CovCath/SK game very soon.

Beechwood will continue to play Cov Cath because A) it is a good tough game against a bigger school to prepare them for the playoffs. B) it is a rivalry game, even though lately it has been dominated by CCH, and who wouldn’t want to see these 2 perineal powers hook up. C) The gate for this game makes it well worth playing because it helps all sports at Beechwood considering all the concessions sales goes to whatever sport is running it.

If CCH keeps drilling Beechwood I believe Coach Rash will pull the plug on the game.

Has there been a second coming in Park Hills? They are having a very good season without question and did have a nice season last year as well, but when was the last time they won even one state title? I think all of this talk is a little premature to say the least. It appears as if we are talking about a mini dynasty here and I honestly just do not see it.

 

Currently they are blessed with a handful of kids that have college level talent and that folks is going to allow you to win some ball games especially when one of them is your quarterback who has been starting for the last 3 years as have a few of the other college level guys.

I agree with you, but most of those college players aren’t graduating this year.

No one at CCH is playing into this dynasty garbage, so don't get it twisted. One game at a time, and if they happen to get lucky and pummel Highlands along the way...all the better. Enjoy the rest of Highlands season.

Wow!!!!!!!! Talk about someone with a chip on the old shoulder. Is this thread not about whether anyone in NKY will schedule CovCath in the future? There is no one calling CovCath average except those that want to try and read something into more than what is right there in black and white. I could really care less if they play Highlands in two weeks or not to be quite honest and if they do, I could care less if they win, lose, draw or pummel.
