Wow!!!!!!!! Talk about someone with a chip on the old shoulder. Is this thread not about whether anyone in NKY will schedule CovCath in the future? There is no one calling CovCath average except those that want to try and read something into more than what is right there in black and white. I could really care less if they play Highlands in two weeks or not to be quite honest and if they do, I could care less if they win, lose, draw or pummel.

I think CovCath should wait a couple of more years and see how their program performs over time before they go the next tier up in scheduling.

 

However, for the Freshman and JV Teams I would schedule Home and Home on both levels if travel expenses didn't figure into the picture.

I think they should try regardless. Even if you lose, it's just a game to see where you stand and see where you need to improve. The Cov Cath JV has played Trinity the last two years and they also beat Scott County JV last year. I think with what they have and what they have at the younger levels, St. X Louisville would be a great game every year. Bowling Green plays St. X, Cov Cath would be a natural game in my opinion.

Like I said, it's one game to test your teams moxie...I'm all for it! Gotta get in the ring with them at some point. Anything can happen in a game, they'll never be neck and neck with them in talent, there's no perfect time.

I believe since Cov Cath started the feeder program (kids that are now seniors were the first group i believe), they are now in a better place football wise, than they have ever been. They are pretty strong in all classes and I do not see that changing.

However, as long as the Beechwood's of the World are wiling to step to the plate there is no reason to rush if you are CCH.
