  1. Congrats Coach Lucas! Who are some candidates for this one?
  2. 1. When I was in school, we started weights/conditioning in February/March 3 times a week. 2. One of our coaches ran it. He was a beast, got us right. 3. All athletes who didn't do winter sports or spring were expected to be there if they wanted to be considered for starting positions/playing time. So as not to burn out. If a kid did winter sport, but no spring sport, coach wanted them to take 2 weeks off in between sports, to let them be a kid. I respected and appreciated that looking back. 4. It was right after school, 3:30-4:30. M/W/Th 5. Nutrition was talked about and suggested, but many of the students in my school weren't in family that coukd afford the most nutritional food with their families, so it was eat what you can to survive.
  3. You sounds like a straight up hater lol give them their props and keep it moving. Any offense that moves the ball and wins is successful, all that matters in that regard. It's deceptive, not gimmicky. Gotta be disciplined to defend it.
  4. If NCC beat WV and WV best HC, you'd assume they'd beat HC except they had opposite results with Holmes, right? Crazy lol
  5. I seem to agree, he certainly has the IQ to play in a P5, with the work ethic and body to match. I'd be surprised if he stayed there, also. A fine college career is indeed in his future
  6. It's crazy sometimes, the differences in the teams from class to class and even throughout the year. Holy Cross beats Holmes at Holmes and Holmes beat NCC at NCC handily...and NCC beats HC handily. And they're a couple of classes apart from Holmes. Football is a wild sport lol
  7. I agree, @Brown...hate it for him, his teammates, and the staff.
  8. Different ballgame with Wright....Trojans struggled to pick up 1st downs. Hard to win like that. Defense and special teams kept them with a fighters chance!
  9. Followed along, heck of a switch-up by Coach Wallace...really wish Lavell played and they could've gotten them full strength. That's 2 years in a row they haven't been able to give X or T 100%. Last year, Wimberly, who was qb basically all season with more explosive wideouts, injured his leg and couldn't play. Congrats to X. They eliminated NH in this round 16 years ago.
  10. smh...wish they could've gotten them full strength. That's 2 years in a row they haven't been able to give X or T 100%. Last year, Wimberly, who was qb basically all season with more explosive wideouts, injured his leg and couldn't play T. Hope NH can pull it out so they can give their best next week!
