North Carolina 71 Gonzaga 65

NC probably wins anyways, but I hate how the refs took the game completely out of flow in the second half.

I don't know how you miss Meeks being out of bounds on the jumpball call at the end. Official didn't even think to review it? Dude was easily out of bounds and it wasn't close.

Said the same thing

So does this final score mean Vegas is clueless? People always post when Vegas is within a point or two of the spread but the many times they miss by 4 points or more no one says anything.

UNC has cancelled all fake classes for the remainder of the week so the team can celebrate the win without worrying about any penalties for missing class.

Zaga didn't panic for 39.5 mins of the game. Hope Roy retires soon or else Carolina will catch UK before we know it.

Hey they have already past Duke!

But congrats to Roy and UNC.

I missed it originally too, went back and looked at it...Meeks touching the ball and out of bounds at the same time before the Jump Ball call.

I hate to put a loss on one player but Karnowski is the primary reason Gonzaga lost this game. Too many point blank shots missed. He could have given his team a 10 or 12 point lead at halftime.

I'd far more argue that if Karnowski didn't completely no-show in the biggest game of his life then Gonzaga wins. Possibly even wins going away. 1/8 from the field. He hadn't hit below 50% of his shots since mid-February. It was his worst game of the year by a lot.

He also had never been tested by true bigs

Karnowski being a nonfactor and Collins foul trouble destroyed Gonzaga. If Collins didn't get in foul trouble it would have probably been enough for them to win. This was an ugly game though, congratulations to North Carolina.

I saw it immediately

Carolina bigs defended him well, which caused him to panic.

NCAA president getting boos as he speaks before presenting the trophy.

How dower is this trophy presentation?

I thought it was pretty obvious that he was OOB. Maybe I just happened to be looking at just the right spot at the right time.

What can ya do.

Perhaps not, but he had little trouble creating his shot, just finishing. He had open looks and very close looks. He'd short arm it, put it long, everything but hit. His one basket was a dunk I believe. There's probably no doubt that these were the best bigs he faced, but it's still hard to believe that he missed all those shots.
