Final ugly game but congrats to the Tarheels on their 6th National Title.

The right team won. UNC was the best team. Man alive was it ugly.

Well, Gonzaga was the first to 65, but never scored again. What a horrible game to watch. I stayed up for this one because I felt bad for missing last year's title game. Wish I'd gone to bed at 9.

Kennedy Meeks for MVP, he was a beast.

Hate UNC but they didn't freak out when they were shooting horribly all tournament. They stepped on D and on the boards. Zags had so many opportunities to win. Karnowski vanishes in the biggest game of his life. If Collins doesn't play today UNC wins by a ton. A game of "If only" for Gonzaga.

I don't know how you miss Meeks being out of bounds on the jumpball call at the end. Official didn't even think to review it? Dude was easily out of bounds and it wasn't close.

 

But congrats to Roy and UNC.

Roy surpassed his mentor with his third national title. As much flack as the man took over the years, he's tied for fourth most titles by a coach.

Some redemption for the Tarheels from last year. Hate for Karnowski he played terrible 1-8 from the field and none of the shots over 4' from the basket.

I am not so sure. Collins being in foul trouble was huge. If he plays 6 more minutes, Gonzaga wins.

I'll go ahead & get this out of the way: the NCAA needs to improve the flow of the game. There are too many delays.

Zaga didn't panic for 39.5 mins of the game. Hope Roy retires soon or else Carolina will catch UK before we know it.

How many teams win a national title shooting 35.6% from the field and 14.8% from 3 and only 57.7% from the line.

Collins foul trouble was the difference in the game. If he plays 6 more minutes in this game, Gonzaga wins.

 

I'd far more argue that if Karnowski didn't completely no-show in the biggest game of his life then Gonzaga wins. Possibly even wins going away. 1/8 from the field. He hadn't hit below 50% of his shots since mid-February. It was his worst game of the year by a lot.
