NC probably wins anyways, but I hate how the refs took the game completely out of flow in the second half.

Calls, weirdly, kind of evened out, though Collins got hosed. You have the ball down 1 under a minute to go...and you sprain your ankle...don't force 2 bad shots.

So does this final score mean Vegas is clueless? People always post when Vegas is within a point or two of the spread but the many times they miss by 4 points or more no one says anything.

 

Vegas was right on the money with 26 seconds left in the game. Hard to call that clueless.

I'd far more argue that if Karnowski didn't completely no-show in the biggest game of his life then Gonzaga wins. Possibly even wins going away. 1/8 from the field. He hadn't hit below 50% of his shots since mid-February. It was his worst game of the year by a lot.

 

I attribute that to the matchups he faced and Carolina's defense. He couldn't just use his size to get what he wanted in this game against the Carolina size.

 

Collins was very effective when he was on the floor. If he plays 6 more minutes, Gonzaga wins and he is player of the game.

Vegas is incredibly accurate. If you don't believe that, you don't follow the spreads on a nightly basis.

Well you can change your bet at any point in time I believe, however it effects your winnings. I'm not a gambler though so I can't explain it in detail, I do follow the betting lines though.

 

Basically what I'm getting at is that they had it nailed right on the head prior to uncs's final flurry in the last 26 seconds. So obviously they weren't clueless.

 

If games were called consistent there wouldn't be much to think on, it would just be Vegas being good at predicting the outcome. But when a game is called like tonight's it could make one wonder if Vegas is wearing the pants. I'm just using this game as an example, it happens all year long with a large number of teams.
