January 10, 20179 yr I like Watson but I am still not sold on him being good in the NFL. Get out of here with the "better than Jameis" stuff. The best prospects on the field were Mike Williams, Jonathan Allen, and Reuben Foster. TONS of talent on that field last night.

January 10, 20179 yr If it wasn't for Death Valley winning Clemson the Louisville game earlier this would've never happened, ain't that right @PurplePride92? Clay Travis broke it down and said that there were four different games this year that Clemson would have lost if just one play went a different way. Easy to say now, but still interesting.

January 10, 20179 yr Given the choice between the 2 I would rather be in Cleveland from a pure football perspective. Hue Jackson is a great coach. The 49ers are an utter disaster from every aspect of the organization. Obviously SanFran is a much better city though.
January 10, 20179 yr Sorry for starting the whole Watson/ Jameis thing. I was just trying to show that they both have that gunslinger mentaility and both have no fear throwing the ball. They play the position with the same sort of attitude. Watson is more athletic and Winston is slightly more accurate. But if Watson could fall into a good situation he could be a very good NFL QB. But Jameis is still way ahead of Watson.

January 10, 20179 yr Congrats to Clemson. I was pulling for Bama but either way, that was one heck of a game. The one thing I question is the spot on the DPI at the end. Should that not have been half the distance to the goal and not spotted at the 2?

January 10, 20179 yr Anybody notice how insanely mad Dabo seemed about Deshaun Watson not winning the Heisman? He called them out saying they would regret him not being the Heisman. He does realize that Clemson and Deshaun obviously turned it on at the end, but they looked like hot garbage most of the year. They could have lost to Troy, should have lost to NC State if they had a competent kicker, and UofL almost beat them too. Also Deshaun led the nation in interceptions. Lamar deserved the Heisman. Deshaun is the better player and better QB, and he proved it last night but he didn't prove it most of the year. I just don't know if Dabo realized how close they were to potential playing in the Outback Bowl instead of winning the NC.
