doesnt mean it didn't happen. Prosecutors drop lower charges all the time to focus on bigger ones

Is this not considered violent ?

Crutcher had been arrested in the past. In 1995 in nearby Osage County, officers said they saw him fire a weapon out a vehicle window. Records show Crutcher was ordered to exit the vehicle for a pat-down search and began making a movement to his right ankle before an officer managed to get control of him. A .25-caliber pistol was found in his right sock, according to an affidavit.

If we are going back to 1995 then that makes me a bad dude too. Good to know.

Resisting arrest is a misdemeanor.

Trafficking drugs is a felony.

Prosecutors drop misdemeanors all the time so they can prosecute the felony

The Whole " bad dude" statement was brought up time and time again painting a picture that there was some evil racist intent of the police force . It turns out the guy was a bad dude . There was nothing incorrect about the statement . I guess we can argue how the pilot knew the guy was bad news , but it doesnt change the fact that the guy was indeed , a very bad dude .

The "bad dude" was based solely on how he looked.

What does his past have to do with that one incident?

The riots and looting ruin the discussion on Charlotte for me. The only riots I was fine with in my lifetime were the LA Riots after the Rodney King verdict. The recent riots ruin the conversation and it is impossible to have a sensible discussion about that incident.

 Even I agree the verdict in the Rodney King case was a joke and a sham, but to say you were "fine" with the rioting, I don't get that. How was rioting going to make things right?

This shooting is on the cops. Should not have turned out like it did.

The Los Angeles riots after the Rodney King verdict did guarantee one big change. Daryl Gates was out as police chief not long afterward and he was seen as the biggest problem with race relations between the police and LA and the citizens.

And of course the other big factor the Rodney King verdict had was it guaranteed a not guilty verdict for OJ Simpson

The "bad dude" was based solely on how he looked.

How big was this guy? In the video he looked big

If that guy was on PCP, man PCP has sure changed over the years. He was walking like he was on valium if anything. And the helicopter guy saying this guy looks like a bad dude, huh, where does that come from? Must be hard to make things out visually way up there

There were all kinds of problems in LA then. The Rodney King verdicts were the tipping point after years and years of unrest between the police and the community. Things have seemed to have improved since 1992 as a result.

So big guys are "bad dudes"?

A big guy walking slower than a cast member of Walking Dead with his hands up. Oh yeah, this guy's bad. let's shoot him point blank

So big guys are "bad dudes"?

Ummm, I sure hope not, that would make me the devil spawn of Hitler and Charles Manson.:scared:

Someone on Twitter said the Tulsa PD confirmed the window was up. I couldn't find anything to support that. Anyone?
