All of my concert t-shirts that I lost during a move.

Interesting. I have a propensity to leave behind things all the time.

Probably a $360 winning ticket for the year Big Brown won the KY Derby. Worst part is, it was a bet I'd placed for my uncle, so it wasn't my money. 14 Mint Juleps at the Legislative Brunch will do that to you. I gave him cash for the ticket value and he was good to go.

A close second is a set of golf clubs. More so I would want to how I lost them, but that is a large item to lose.

I'm going to need a bigger box :lol2:

We moved 10 times in the first 11 years we were married...I lost a lot of stuff during those moves. However I think my wife may have assisted some of that stuff in getting lost.

First thing I'm looking for is my Favorite Van Halen shirt, which I think may have gotten lost with help from my wife...but that's the first thing I can think of that I'm looking for.

The hat I wore through the majority of college. Lost it on Spring Break in Daytona.

I'm pretty convinced my girlfriend at the time pitched it and let me think I lost it when when I was drunk.

Those things sell like hotcakes on eBay.

The thousands of baseball cards I had when I was a kid. I have no idea where they are and my mom has moved several times since. I have helped her move every time and no baseball cards.

My wedding ring. That didn't go over so well.

This is what I was thinking.

A special ammethyt ring that my mom gave me when I graduated from college. i was on a business trip and I put it in the drawer next to my bed. Forgot to put it back on in the morning when I went to work. Came back to the hotel room and....:(.

With 'ya there. I lost mine when we were first married. I played a lot of softball then, thought I had lost it on the field to never be found again. A year later when softball started up again, I trotted out to the outfield, caught a liner and felt what I thought was a rock in the glove finger. Yup, it was my wedding ring!

Two stories about wedding rings:

I have a friend in construction who lost his ring working on the outside of his house. He searched everywhere and even rented a metal detector. About a year after he lost it, he went to do some work and grabbed a pair of work gloves out of the shed and the ring was in the work gloves.

A guy I worked with recently married and on their first day of the honeymoon, he was on the beach and threw his arms up in the air. The ring went flying into the ocean. He rented snorkel equipment looking for it but never did find it. But he got sunburned so bad, he couldn't go in the sun the rest of the trip.

A Buck 110 folding knife that my Dad gave me when I was 10 years old and told me to never lose....he had one just like it and probably still does. Had a tree stand incident at Ft. Knox on a bow hunt and am pretty sure it resides in those hills still...worst - loss - ever.

I had an uncle lose a class ring at our lake house when he was a senior, more than 10 years later, I found it washed up on the shore by our dock....crazy...

I suspect that "sunburn" was the excuse he used for what happened after he told his new bride he lost the ring....

A coin that belonged to my grandfather and he gave to me when I was a kid. It was a foreign coin (perhaps German) and not worth anything but I can't find it and it bothers me.

A Case XX Canoe knife that my brother in law gave me when I was about 13. I carried that thing daily for many years, and sometime after I was married I lost it. I think it was on a hunting trip. It is probably laying in the woods somewhere. I bought a replacement a few years ago but I would love to have that original back.
