There are several combines that take place throughout the winter. Indy is invite only. The other NFLPA combines such as New Orleans, Minnesota, Maryland, etc are by registration with limited numbers accepted. While the combines are important, what's really important is getting with a truly dedicated and trusted workout facility, that can prepare you for "ALL" aspects of the combine/pro-day mentally and physically, and an agent that has the ability to promote you to the NFL scouts. It's a vigorous process that requires dedication and sacrifices beyond the norm just to get a shot.

The pessimist in me is wondering why he didn't opt for the 7 day plan.
Very stressful workouts and intense training sessions.....need day off in between workouts for muscle recovery.....he also is lifting weights on days not working on combine related drills

Good luck to this kid!

If you look at NFL rosters, you do not have to go to Alabama, USC, or Ohio State to make it in the league.

Is this the same Tanner Napier who played at Lafayette? If so, 6'5" is rather ambitious. The combine will get it accurate.

That was what MSU had him in the program.......
