FanofMany33
I thought the NFL combine was in Indy every year? There are several combines that take place throughout the winter. Indy is invite only. The other NFLPA combines such as New Orleans, Minnesota, Maryland, etc are by registration with limited numbers accepted. While the combines are important, what's really important is getting with a truly dedicated and trusted workout facility, that can prepare you for "ALL" aspects of the combine/pro-day mentally and physically, and an agent that has the ability to promote you to the NFL scouts. It's a vigorous process that requires dedication and sacrifices beyond the norm just to get a shot.
fan4nascar
Good for Tanner, I hope he makes the best of his situation. Anything to get out in front of scouts is a win IMO. Good luck to him.

strongopenyon
Good luck to this kid! If you look at NFL rosters, you do not have to go to Alabama, USC, or Ohio State to make it in the league. Is this the same Tanner Napier who played at Lafayette? If so, 6'5" is rather ambitious. The combine will get it accurate.

WestDanville
Yes that's the same Tanner Napier from Lafayette. Great kid, worked with him when he was a senior in HS. I wish him the best of luck! 6'5 isn't much of a stretch anymore. He grew a little more after high school.
