Steelers 18 Bengals 16

Also lost in all of this is the crucial dropped INT by Ray at the end of the half that allowed Pittsburgh to maintain possession and kick the field goal to put the Steelers up 6 to zip.

Shazier also dropped a pick 6. Wash

Ian Rappaport is tweeting that he has inside information within the Bengals Organization and Marvin Lewis will be fired on Monday morning.

I think its a good thing, he had a good run here and the Browns were very loyal to him but a change of leadership has to take place. You cannot put up with clowns like Burfict and Jones in a huge game like that. No control over his team and he cannot manage a game when its on the line.

Why in the world would you give the ball to a fumble prone RB like Hill in that situation? Knee the ball 3 times and try a FG. You make the Steelers burn their timeouts and force an injured Big Ben to beat you with 60 sec left deep in his own territory.

I think Paul Geunther will be offered the HC position after they fire Marvin.

They will keep Burfict and Jones on the team because they are the keys to the defense but Geunther will bust their balls next year.

McCarron led this team to a playoff win.

No he didn't.

Congratulations Bengals on your 1st Round Playoff Victory last night.

It was absolutely H2H. Watch this video. Helmet to the jaw then it goes to the shoulder.

Question surrounds the "crown" rule. Seems like he violated it to me based on the wording of the rule.

That is my point. It has nothing to do with a defenseless receiver or runner. Shazier led with his helmet and it was head to head. It should have been a penalty. Instead it was a fumble and the Bengals were incensed. They lost their minds after that. If the refs wanted to control this game, they should have erred on the side of protection on all these hits in the game, like they did on the pass over the middle that was called against the Bengals.

In college football, Shazier would have likely been ejected from the game for that hit. I don't agree with that, just pointing out the college rule which may very well soon be NFL rule if they are serious about getting these hits reeled in.

I know it's deadspin, but here's that take.

Giovani Bernard And The "Unfortunate Hit" That Knocked Him Out And Enraged The Bengals

It's over. Playing the "shoulda, coulda" game won't change anything. I don't want to think about it anymore. It's done. I'm dreading watching the games today because I'll have to see the replays.

I accidentally punched a hole in my ceiling after AJ's touchdown. Jumped out of my chair with my hands up and fist went straight through the ceiling. Spackling over that this morning would have been a lot more enjoyable with a W.

That is a good one Habib. Unfortunately for me, I was never able to get that excited during the game. I have been trained too well by years of Bengals flubs. The next time I will perhaps be able to get excited like that will be when the Bengals win a playoff game.

McCarron led this team to a playoff win.

I thought this was AJ's first playoff game? And I'm pretty sure Bengals lost last night.

What makes you think that? He didn't this year.

I really have no problem with Marvin running Hill. A first down and the game is over. Remember, Bernard was out but I bet Burkhead would not have fumbled. You would had to kill him first to get that ball. And Yes, I think Marvin should be fired and who ever called that stupid 2 pt conversion. It was all down hill from there.

I also don't want to hire anyone who is on the staff. No of them deserve to be Bengals Head Coach. Bengals nevered blitzed one time on that last drive knowing Ben could not throw the ball well. A sack and game is over.
