Steelers assistant coach Joey Porter will be fined for coming on to field Saturday night and engaging Bengals players, per a source.

 

Per another source... I don't think he will have any problem getting some donations to help pay the fine... I still think there was some intent behind his actions.

The key to beating Steelers is that you have to cheap shot them first, and often. Clearly, the Bengals cannot keep their emotional composure when the the Steelers initiate.

I said early in the when it appeared that the Bengals would lose that Marvin was 100% not getting fired.

 

I still believe he's not getting fired. It's just not 100%.

Well, I don't really have many comments but have really enjoyed reading this morning. It was late when we got home and this is my weekend to work, so I was pretty interested in these threads this morning and they didn't disappoint. There will be 8 teams remaining at today's end, I'm just glad the team I root for is one of them. No one mentions the phantom PI call on Allen with the side judge shielded from the play yet he tossed the flag on the Hill TD drive, but I didn't expect there'd be any reason for the Bengal faithful to discuss it.:lol2:

 

Both Tomlin and Marvin tried to outsmart themselves last night. Just silly on both parts. And these are common knowledge football IQ issues that don't take "gut" to figure out.

 

After the Burfict pick, my whole family congratulated the Bengal fans around us. They were very cordial and appreciative. However, when it turned, not one of them returned the favor.:idunno:

 

I've been to many games a PBS, and this one by far in the stadium was the loudest. The Bengal fans should at the least be very proud of their turnout. Outstanding support for this one.

 

Glad I have hi dollar duck hunting clothing, came in handy for this one.

The difference between Luke Kuechely and Burfict is definitely not talent. It is the lack of emotional maturity. He has gotten worse in that regard since ASU.

I have always been on Marvin's side and a supporter. I am beginning to think it might be time for him to move on.

He'll get fined ... Shazier, the player that put that hit on Bernard. Yes, I think if it were Burfict it would have been a penalty and it should have been a penalty.

 

The NFL has got to get this figured out. The penalty that was called on the Bengals on the pass play over the middle for the hit - that was the least of the bad hits in this game and it got flagged. DB's are going to be forced to start taking out knees the way the league is throwing flags.

 

What about the no call on the hit Eifert took in the first quarter, when the DB literally launched off his feet and hit Eifert right in the chin...

I would suggest flipping on the TV and taking in some of the FA Cup, it will help you forget about last night because this type of circus stuff never happens in Futbol.
