AND---fans, try to stay on your side. Especially if you are loud and passionate about your team. It's the right thing to do.

This is a high school phenomenon. Do fans from the same school dislike each other that much?

Not really dislike........it also happens at some club games, but the fan soccer IQ at club games are usually higher and 1...they sit on their side....or 2. if co-mingled they know not to argue with the other side that they are sitting on....

 

In HS, because of the lower soccer IQ, both of these things don't happen.....

 

With club, you also usually have two pretty equal teams going at it......in HS, not so much......More tendency in HS to have one side with a chip on their shoulder and feels that everyone is "jealous" if one negative comment is made....even if it is backed up by facts.....

The bad part about the sign, is that usually the people that would benefit from it the most, feel that is doesn't pertain to them...it is the "other" people.
