Bruce is available for trade according to Reds

Featured Replies

1. Hiring one of your own never works out. (Pete, Perez, Miley, Price)

2. I dont think Larkin would be a good manager period.

It has seemed to work out with STL, Min, and TB

Give Larkin some role with the team now and they will transition him to manager in the off season. That's my guess.

This is my thought as well. Let Price or someone else handle the rebuild but have Larkin around for his input and also to make impression on future players.

Hard to believe that Bruce went from a player that Reds fans talked about as a future MVP to a player that they don't mind seeing leave town at age 28.

I'm still a big fan of Bruce. I honestly believe his best years are ahead of him. I don't want to see him get traded, but I understand if they have to.

Especially after his first week. Just seems that he's lost it mentally.

Good guy in a way. But who needs anyone in the way?

Not that this is a surprise, but....

@jonmorosi: #Reds are prepared to trade prospective free agents Johnny Cueto and Mike Leake now that All-Star Game is over, sources say.

:lol2: Danny Kannel just said that he would rather trade for Papelbon than Chapman if his goal was to win. :lol2:

Enough of a reason to never listen to that dude again.

That guy is a goofball!

He got a big contract, all he has to do is show up. He isn't getting better, he's getting worse. Spent most of this year trying to raise his batting average from 164. His BA is worse than that with runners in scoring position with 2 outs. He will never be an all star again. Don't forget his base running blunders, that adds fuel to the fire.

While we are at it, "big bucks" Bailey is way over paid. Base runners steal him blind.

Cingrani is not a major league pitcher.

Has Votto had his eyes check lately? Making mega bucks without producing or being an all star.

Bruce is hitting 300 since the beginning of June.

Why not bash the weather while you're at it?

There is a stat somewhere, it might be in here actually. But ever since the one year anniversary of his injury, he's been pretty good actually. They say it takes a whole year for a thing like that.
