And the problem with people like NKY Bandit, is they only see a problem with people like the Koch brothers but not with people like Soros.

I disagree. Winning a presidential election is all about getting those middle voters who are open to voting for either the R or the D. The R's problem is the middle ground is made up of a lot of voters who the R's policies push to the D's. The biggest part of that is the Hispanic vote. That is why I think Rand Paul would be a good nominee for the R's. He has immigration policies and positions that will cause those voters to strongly consider voting for him.

Maybe a better way to address this is create jobs to reduce dependency, rather than worry about getting rid of programs. I believe it was Dr. Carson who suggested this idea. After reducing dependency, the government then can tighten up rules to make it tougher to get on these programs.

I would vote for Jeb over Hillary seven days a week and twice on Sunday...

If you can put aside the Bush name - or had the previous Bush not been in the White House - Jeb I always felt was a qualified guy for the job. Both Hillary and he are going off name recognition in the eyes of most. Hillary, to her benefit. Jeb, to his detriment.

 

If Jeb or Hillary are elected, it will be a Bush/Clinton in the White House in some capacity from 1980 - 2020 (at least), minus the Obama years.
