One interesting fact from the game the Cats never had 3 consecutive stops against the Irish the entire game until the end of the game.

So, I was at a wedding and there was about 100 people crowded around my phone for the final 5 minutes of this game. Even though UK won it was a great time.

Ok, the BBN absolutely loves the "clean look" WCS forced him in to. Sheesh!

Reading comprehension issue tonight? WCS did a great job running with Grant, but he got dusted on the step back. Andrew erased it by going full speed on the trail to force a double clutch and air ball. If he doesn't, Grant gets a clean 3 from the corner to win. Grant is a GREAT player more than capable of hitting a clean step back 3 at a high rate. A step back 3 contested once he is already in the air and has to double clutch, not so much...

You apparently can't read. Harrison forced him into the bad look. Willie was no where close.

you GT's parrot?

If you say so it must be so.

WOW ! N.D. diid absolutely everything that they had to do to win. Both teams made big plays all through this one, U.K. just made one more. K.A. Towns held the Cats in this one all night, ND. Had No Answer for him.. Without Towns, N.D. wins this one handily.

Both Coaches did a fantastic job as well tonight. Cal "not" calling a t/o before the last possession was imo huge, that would had given N.D., Brey a t/o that he didn't have to call.

Harrison's three when had to, WCS block on their next to last possession ....That's Why they Come to Kentucky, to make clutch plays like those !

Bottom Line .....We Are Kentucky. !!

To any N.D. Basketball fans that are on here - a tip of my U.K. Wildcat cap to you and your team. What a game they played.

Trust me when I say that I would have said the same should the Irish had won this one. N.D. Did Not Lose this game -- U.K. Won it.

If you say so it must be so.

Not sure why it is so tough for you to acknowledge that it was Andrew that contested the shot. You do you though... :thumb:

I believe Towns posted the second highest scoring performance of the year for Kentucky, with only Aaron Harrison's OT assisted 26 points against Ole Miss topping it. Towns was basically the only offensive player that had it working tonight. Just a phenomenal game from him.

Off topic, I would give good money to have a UK manager to punch Len Elmore in the mouth multiple times. That guy is a hater,

During the UK post game press conference some reporter kept asking the players questions and Cal told him that was his last question. The reporter said you never talk to me in the season this is different. Don't think Cal liked it to much didn't hear who the reporter was.

here is how bad UK's defense was tonight.

Notre Dame made 26 FGs and 20 of them were either lay-ups or dunks.

UK made its last 9 shots from the floor

Kentucky's last missed shot came with 12:16 left in the game. Pretty incredible. Notre Dame was 6/16 in the same span, and missed their last three shots, going the final 2:36 scoreless.

If you count free throws, Kentucky went the final 8:43 with the ball going through the net each time it left their hand.

ND 40 points in the paint, that's something I didn't think they could do to this team. Augeste was an absolute beast.

Wow. ND is the real deal! Hats off to them... But go Cats!! Heck of a game.
