Kentucky closed the game on a 16-2 run. The only Georgia score was a layup that Kentucky just gave them. The Wildcats trailed 62-56 with 5:36 left in the game. It took 5:05 for Georgia to score again.

If you go back further, it was 56-47 Georgia with 9:10 left. You can do the math that it was a 25-8 run from that point. Georgia made three shots after that point.

Let's be honest here: Georgia is not a great team. Still, this is the type of game that shows why people think it's almost inevitable that UK wins it all. There is scarcely more that could have gone Georgia's way. They had a near perfect game plan. They were shooting over 50% for most of the night. Kentucky shot an awful percentage. Really the only knock on Georgia was that they weren't winning the turnover battle and they were exceptionally bad from the free throw line down the stretch. But they still couldn't put Kentucky down.

So many ways this team can win. Do whatever it takes.

Can we go back to boring lopsided wins, PLEASE?

They just keep finding ways to get it done when they aren't at their best. Towns was huge down the stretch. GA missing the front end of 3 1-1's also helped.

True dat.

CATS fall to 30-0.

Kentucky just plugging away like a Dutch boy at a dike!

Karl Towns is a beast, dude has been unstoppable the past 3+ games.

Knew this was going to be a tuff road game, but Cats find a way to win. 30-0.

Always love hearing the chant, " Go Big Blue" at away games.

I really like the way Cal coached this game tonight. The team was definitely struggling but he kept poking and prodding, found the best 5 tonight and put them on the floor at the end of the game.

I won't lie, I was really nervous in that 2nd half, but they were able to pull it out and get the W.

Harrisons played very well.

Ulis had an off shooting night.

Karl A. Towns was a man playing with boys out there down the stretch. The Twins have really stepped up too. Classic Willy disappear game but that's when it seems like Lee steps up. I'll take it.

0-4 is usually considered an "off night".
