MJAlltheWay24
All teams will struggle at some point with inferior teams they shouldn't lose to. Nothing more IMO. As long as that struggling is happening in early Jan, I think we can all agree that we are cool with it.
MJAlltheWay24
You know what, I say there is someone to blame for their underachievement... The fans are to blame. Because they believe that winning games by a slim margin is underachieving.

dolamite
The main reasons for Kentucky's lackluster week has to be the 10 day layoff and lack of consistency with the rotations. The platoon system had the players used to playing in those lineups and now that players are playing in different rotations they have lost some of the rhythm and on court chemistry they had. Those are the two things that hurt them this week. As far as underachieving, they haven't done so IMO thus far. Like someone said, it will not be underachieving until they get knocked out of the tourney.
MJAlltheWay24
I think they need to still learn how to play a little without Poythress still too. He would have had some key plays in both of these last two games and would have definitely helped keep them from going to overtime.

stinkyboy II
Only 8-6-1 ATS. Maybe that's the underachievement Guru is posting about.
HammerTime
Fish in a barrel. Pretty much, too easy.
Randy Parker
The platoon system had the players used to playing in those lineups and now that players are playing in different rotations they have lost some of the rhythm and on court chemistry they had. Most of it is this IMO. I would add that the bigs need to get Billy Gillispie tougher.
ColonelCrazy
Fish in a barrel. :thumb: I would be interested to hear why 'ru thinks the A&M game "shouldn't have been close at all." Other than the fact that UK threads are good for business.

doomer
Not sure about others but I'm having fun and I expect I'll really be having fun come March. I actually watched the entire game because it wasn't a blowout. I agree with Randy Parker too....the bigs are going to have to get tougher and ready to be challenged physically. theguru
I can only assume the Guru just realized UK lost their last game in the Bahamas If only UK would have played some NBA teams in the summer instead of the national teams maybe they would have their act together.
