December 29, 201411 yr The Bengals don't have guys with enough sack to make the plays when it counts. People can put it on Dalton all they want but they would just look clueless. Roethlisberger makes the wrong throw and the Steelers get a touchdown. Palmer makes the wrong throw that results in a pick. And let's not forget that players can also make plays to cover their coaches bad decisions, like forcing a fumble after an ill-advised fake punt call. The Bengals have none of that.

December 29, 201411 yr Never have I seen a team look so competent one week, then look like they never have stepped on a field the next. Also Marvin has been here for 12 years? Shouldn't he figure out time management? I've never seen so many timeouts to avoid a delay of game before, and they let 30 seconds run off before that 4th quarter time out. Frustrated doesn't even describe how I feel right now.

Not sure what else Nelson can do. You can't hit anyone high these days. His hit was perfectly clean and legal. Hopefully Bell is OK but that's the way it is now. You have to go low of those guys.
December 29, 201411 yr Author Maybe it's just me but.. Watching the NBC interview with Brown. In the background I see Rey taking his jersey off to give to a Steeler and the Steeler does the same thing. I can't imagine walking into the Bengals lockerroom with a darn Steelers jersey as a souvenir.

Expect nothing and be happy when you the team exceeds expectations.
