Same here, and i eat there maybe once every other month. So I'm hardly a fan, but they have improved a ton.

I havent been in one in years. So maybe they cleaned up. I'm guessing the food is still what it was. Just saw the commercial for McRib. Ew

Agreed...McDonalds is our go to potty break on road trips, you can usually count on them to be clean... not so much with other chains.

I've pondered the double lane thing too myself trying to decide if it's a good or bad idea, and I've concluded that it does seem to have 3 main advantages.

 

1. Lessons the amount of cars wrapped around the building by condensing them to two lanes thereby causing less of an issue with cars entering the parking lot to park.

 

2. Gets the employees on top of your order sooner making the line go faster.

 

3. (For McDonald's sake) Gives the illusion that the line is not too long making some potential customers not reconsider and go to another restaurant instead.

There is absolutely nothing better than a McDonald's coke.

 

I complete agree, and have no idea why that is the case. You would think that a Coke is a Coke, but for some reason a Coke from McDonald's just taste so much better than from anywhere else.

A new McDonalds will be built on the site of the former Burger King, owned by Brandycorp, which has been demolished. It is located directly across from the DAV.

 

There is one in Alexandria and Wilder, but none serving the Highland Heights/Cold Spring/471 demographic. I'm not a MickyD fan, but I guess it will be a good fit.

Sure seems to work for Chick-Fila down in Newport.

Not sure how I ever bought into it other than just being completely brainwashed, but the thought of eating at McD's or Burger King now just makes me want to puke.

That Burger King was a DUMP! The Wendy's has done fine there. The McDonalds will as well.
