June 17, 201511 yr I might have missed this but why didn't B-Dubs make it in that location? It seems like with NKU growing each year that a Buffalo Wild Wings would be a hot spot in that location. Think they wanted in on the new Newport Pavilion area. Was at that Bdubs a couple days before they closed and one of the mangers told me that corporate was requiring them all to remodel (it was in desperate need of it), and because of how high the rent was there, they didn't want to put the renovation costs into it, so they were closing it. Manager also told me that they were going to put a new one at the Pavilion.

I think they stayed decently busy in that location. I don't know this as fact, but I heard that the BW3s owners were not thrilled with the strip mall owners for allowing Raneiro's (also no longer in business) to basically become an additional bar within that stip.
June 19, 201511 yr Cane's is opening in Florence, on 18, near City BBQ and Mike's Car Wash, near the intersection of the road World of Sports is on. Should be open by October 1. I'm way too excited about that & CostCo.
July 20, 201511 yr What is going in near White Castle in Cold Spring? Foundation is poured. Also heard Hayloft in Alexandria is going to be replaced by a CVS? Anyone else heard that?

I was wondering about the Cold Spring spot. My guess was if the Alexandria La Rosa's was being relocated, would that be the spot? The Hayloft location seems to be a death trap for restaurants. I think they've had a pretty solid run there but it's just not a place that is sustainable for food IMO.

I think type of place/environment/ownership is more to blame than the location. I watched the owner walk out of the kitchen with a cigarette in his mouth one time. I've been in there once in the last year or two. Place is gross.
