This game will be played Friday @ Memorial Gym in Hazard for th 54th District Championship. Who will win this game??

It depends on who controls the tempo. In a transition game Hazard should win, but if Leslie can slow it down they should win. It will be a good one.

I agree with Lightning, tempo will be the key. I wonder if Leslie will try the same defense on Hicks that PCC did?

 

Leslie will need to play much better than they did last night or it could get ugly.

The thing about district finals are that both teams know they will be playing in the region. Sometimes teams dont play as hard in games like these as they do in elimination games.

I guarantee that both of these teams play hard. It has been a long time since one of these two schools have won a district championship.

This is an easy pick. Hazard is at home. Hazard will prevail.

I like the Bulldogs at home in the confines of Memorial by 5.

Leslie has the better team. But it is hard to win in Memorial.

If it comes down to a close game at the end I think leslie will come away with the win they have been in to many close games this year.

I pick Hazard because I think they are riding high off their win against PCC and that momentum will boost them. However, I will not be surprised to see Leslie win, as they are a great team and capable of winning. Should be a fun one.

I'm going with my favorite all year Leslie but Hazard going into this game carries homecourt advantage and emoitions off the big win againest Perry. leslie is a solid team and if the press that hazard will have doesnt bother Leslie to bad then Leslie will come victorious but if Leslie cant handle the pressure full court and has the same trouble that Perry did then Hazard will go ahead and hang the banner while their there.

Its too tough to choose a team playing in Memorial Gym that isnt Hazard.
