April 23, 201412 yr One, two, three? What you got? How many more starts before Cueto pulls his vagina?
April 23, 201412 yr Cueto 1 run in last 22 innings. Is that good? Asking for a friend who thinks the Big O is better than every Wildcat ever.
April 23, 201412 yr Cueto 1 run in last 22 innings. Is that good? Asking for a friend who thinks the Big O is better than every Wildcat ever. It's good. And the Big O is greater than every Wildcat ever...

April 23, 201412 yr Author No. Seems you've been absent. Drive by thread starter. Oh I've read throughout, just didn't have a lot too add to tge arguements haha.
April 23, 201412 yr One, two, three? What you got? How many more starts before Cueto pulls his vagina? It is a tad disheartening that Price couldn't trust his bullpen enough last night to get Cueto out before his pitch count went up. With Cueto never making 4 starts in a row last year I was hoping he could have had a shorter 9th inning.

With Cueto never making 4 starts in a row last year I was hoping he could have had a shorter 9th inning. I can't speak for him, but I'm guessing the issue had little to do about trust. Sure, they may be the worst bullpen in the league...but, Cueto had been dealing through 8. In fact, if anything, I'd say it was more about giving Cueto a boost, in the thinking that he's all the way back to where he was a couple years ago. As far as pitch count, it wasn't like he started the inning at 110 or so.

I would have been a little disappointed if he didn't give Cueto the opportunity for the complete game shuthout. He started the 9th with a pitch count of about 90, maybe a little less, didn't he?
