April 23, 201412 yr Absolutely. Simon has been unreal so it'd really be something if he keeps it up close to this level. Regardless, I will feel comfortable with Simon in the game no matter the situation. The really nice thing about how he's been pitching, is the fact that the Reds haven't felt rushed to get Latos back. (Sort of the same way with Cingrani and Cueto last year.) Hopefully the extra time off for Mat proves to be beneficial.
April 23, 201412 yr I'd be surprised if it's shortly. He's got a really long way to go. He's not even throwing a ball yet according to what they've said. When they're hopeful he can start 'playing catch' sometime soon, you know you're basically at square one.
April 23, 201412 yr Simon needs to get the pen quick. When Latos comes back he has to be available 4 days a week. Whenever that may be.

April 23, 201412 yr Don't forget the negatives too like living out of a hotel room and being away from family and kids events for long stretches. Or only have to work 6 months out of the year
April 23, 201412 yr Hamilton 8 Votto 3 Phillips 4 Bruce 9 Frazier 5 Bernadina 7 Mesoraco 2 Santiago 6 Simon RHP Most people are certainly not going to like Raco behind Bernadina...
April 23, 201412 yr I know people want Meso moved up, but he provides great balance in the lineup right now.
April 23, 201412 yr Most people are certainly not going to like Raco behind Bernadina... R/L rotation through the top 7. If he needs to switch with anyone, it's Fraz
April 23, 201412 yr R/L rotation through the top 7. If he needs to switch with anyone, it's Fraz Personally i think it would be fun with him to switch with BP and see what happens :lol2:
