I saw a stat this morning that the Reds haven't had back to back shutouts from a pitcher since Tom Seaver did it in 1977. That's hard to believe, and honestly doesn't sound right to me.
April 23, 201412 yr I would have been a little disappointed if he didn't give Cueto the opportunity for the complete game shuthout. He started the 9th with a pitch count of about 90, maybe a little less, didn't he? He deserved to start the inning no doubt.

That's hard to believe, and honestly doesn't sound right to me. I saw the same from Joel Luckhaupt last night. I believe he said it was the 50's or 60's since someone from the Reds had done it against the same team in back to back starts. It would have been a heck of an accomplishment. I was with you in thinking that it would have seemed like it had happened since then.
