Those type of trades aren't too common but are the difference in a team trading a star for multiple MLB-ready prospects vs lower minor league level guys for a one season rental.

I really didn't start following the business side of the game until about 4-5 years ago, so anything that happened prior to then isn't going to register for me.
April 22, 201412 yr I can never think of Volquez without thinking of Josh Hamiton... and that just hurts Ehhh, Hamilton has produced some seasons but he is a walking DL. That was one of those deals where it was really good for both teams then all of a sudden it went south mighty quickly. Kind of funny to see where they are now.

Okay now on to tonight...............Hottest hitter in baseball sitting because????? well I guess he has to rest sometime.... but I believe he has caught Cueto a total of 1 inning in his career. Okay nothing a win won't cure. Could be worse.......could be a Pacers fan or a Blue Jacket fan.

The 9 hitter was your best pinch hitter not the pitcher. A situation you HOPE to use your best pinch hitter in. Even if Cozart makes his usual out you had a chance to extend the lead. Absolutely no reason to send him in that situation.

Still had more oppurtunities to score. No issue at all
