Just going based on the rankings. I don't think it is much of an upset either.

I'm going with Conner with the upset -- 3-2

Great game. Both teams looked really good defensively and the pitchers were in complete cruise control pretty much all game. Have to feel for Boone's pitcher to lose by hitting a guy, having a routine grounder to third booted, and then a texas leaguer to fall in between a few guys for the win. Hats off to both teams. Good luck to the Red Colonels tonight!

Are they still doing this tournament with the wooden bat? Always loved the old school feel of that.

Can't imagine Dixie being as good after losing Hatton. They'd need some serious leaps in multiple players games for that to happen.

Regarding the over the back non-call, I was sitting courtside and dead center, definitely an over the back that should have been called. As far as the block by Bolden, it *looked* like a goaltend, but it happened so fast that it was really tough to tell. A bang bang play that honestly is a judgment call from the ref and without the use of replay I don't think anyone can moan and groan too much about it.

Ouch, that is sad to see. As far as the crowd goes, I was more referencing the lack of students that were there. From my experiences, Dixie always had a large student section that was standing and cheering the entire game. Especially with everything Hatton has done for dixie (first regional title since 57, all time leading scorer in 9th region history, etc) I really thought that it would be a great atmosphere, especially with the students.

I had never seen Cooper play before last night but they really impressed me with how hard they play. As mentioned, that Hathorn kid was an animal on the inside, doesn't look really tall by any means but boy can he jump. Hatton seemed to be off the majority of the night but some credit has to be given to Cooper because they constantly had a hand in his face and help anytime he drove. Hatton started to be a faciliator more in the second half and others such as Schreck (sp?) and Rabe stepped up. Glad I got to see Dixie get this win and Hatton for the last time playing a home game. On a side note, I was really disappointed with the turnout as far as the crowd goes. I thought it'd me a much bigger night with it being senior night and the last chance to see Hatton. The student section consisted of like 40 students, many of them being baseball players who just finished tryouts earlier. There wasn't students standing up and cheering or any of that type of thing. Not sure if this is the norm at Dixie games now, but it was sad to see in my opinion.

Good to see Dixie take care of business. Going to be a great game vs the blue Colonels on Friday night.

You guys should put that clip on youtube and see if it can get close to the Zapruder film for views.... heck even the Zapruder film is more clear than that one (not saying whether the ball went in or not, I can't 100% tell from the video either way).

Exactly... Hatton takes what the defense gives him. It's more about trying to make it tough on him, you know he is going to make plays regardless.

I got some Beats for Christmas and can't describe how happy I am with them. They are definitely expensive, no doubt, but if you're going to be using headphones as much as you are why not have a really good pair? The sound quality to me is incredible and I feel like there's sounds in the music I had never heard before I had them. But, like others said, I am sure there are plenty of quality pairs for cheaper... just depends on how much you value a good pair of headphones.

Are they not going to make up any of those games? I figured the Toyota Classic games won't be played, but what about the local ones?
