That's pretty much what he said though. Everyone leaves out the two most important words of his tweet....."word is".

What he said doesn't bother me in the least. The timing of it was just bizarre. It's like he was starving for attention and wanted everyone to "look at me". Wait until after the game is over, then let it go.

That was painful to listen to, Rex sounded like a fool.

Didn't Rex have some negative things to say about Cal and the one and done thing this season. I think he is just trying to stir up stuff.

And that's what Rex told Dan.

Then like Dan asked him, why say #donedeal?

Does Rex have by far the best NBA connections in the state of KY? Wasn't he with WWW before the game?

Then like Dan asked him' date=' why say #donedeal?[/quote']

And like Rex said, " the rumor is it's a done deal"

Rex didn't say it was a done deal.

The done deal is that this is a chess move by WWW to get Cal more money. Cal already makes more than all but 2 NBA coaches.

And during.

UK fans read what they wanted to read... His tweet was clear that he was told this by someone else, not that they were his own words. "Word is" matters in the context of the tweet. You can't ignore it.

The timing was terrible. There was nothing wrong with WHAT he said.

Agree, if he waited till today I think it would be different

Thought Dan Patrick did a great job on his end. Rex, not so much.

No different than the "end of an era" comment by RP.

I had no idea that Randy said that.

I had no problem with what he said, if he wants to put himself out there like that so be it. It makes me a little mad one of your own would do something like that an hour before the biggest game of the season.

Is Rex now saying he thinks he'll stay at Kentucky?
