March 3, 201412 yr I was supposed to be in Memphis today for family commitments and return tomorrow, but we decided to get back to Frankfort this afternoon. Hopefully it was the right decision. A t least it was the safest.

March 3, 201412 yr All snow and 19 degrees in NKY at 8:20. Kenton County pulled the trigger on calling off school early vs 5a tomorrow which means Boone and Campbell County schools will follow suit. Thoughts and prayers to those of you in freezing rain areas for no power outages and safe travels!

March 3, 201412 yr Easy Homer' date=' please convince me how 6-10" of snow is better than 1-3" unless you work at Perfect North or enjoy skiing. The ice portion of this storm according to the NWS is over for NKY. Time to put the "hide the women and children" angle away and enjoy a friendlier forecast. Personally my back would rather shovel 2" than 8". After receiving approx. 1/10 of ice this morning there are no reported outages in NKY. March 3, 201412 yr Well, it appears Winter has finally arrived in Bowling Green. Just in time for Spring.
March 3, 201412 yr 1-1/2"-2" in Ft Thomas. Just went out and shoveled my drive and it's already covered.
