nWo Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 What are the projected levels of Snowfall along the Ohio River in NKY?? I have followed your updates throughout the entire season. They have been spot on... Thank you very much We want this storm to track south, to avoid the ice, right nWo? Correct and it looks like it is doing just that. We still will see some ice but as of now looks like not much. Here are this mornings National Weather Service forecasts for snow and ice for NKY: National Weather Service Forecast Office - Wilmington Ohio What do you think nWo? I think those are pretty close to what I've been thinking. I want to see the afternoon run to be sure. I'm actually thinking we may have to up the snow totals for just about everyone.
nWo Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 I'm seeing a wide spread .25" of ice for Sunday that goes as far north as Louisville then over to Georgetown and then over to Olive Hill. The southern boarder of this goes around to Paintsville down to the Tennessee State line. People this looks to be a nasty storm. The worst of the winter. I'll post an update later this afternoon when the newest model runs are released.
JDEaston Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I'm not sure how accurate weather underground is, but it has been bumping up snow totals for Ashland all day. It is now saying 5-8" Sunday night with another 3-5" Monday morning.

nWo Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 The Winter Storm WARNING area has been expanded to include most of Kentucky. As of yet, doesn't include NKY or EKY. I'd suspect the Wilmington,OH and Jackson,KY offices will follow suit soon.
