March 3, 201412 yr Author Roads are not OK. 471 and 275 on semi clear lane this morning. I saw two plows. One was sitting on an on ramp. The other was at a Shell staion. I think they gave up. I think they did in my subdivision. They plowed but it is covered right back up.

March 3, 201412 yr I got Danville in the 6-8" category. This is by this afternoon. I was going to ask how much we got here. Looks like at least 4" to me. Roads are the worst they have been since the ice storm.
March 3, 201412 yr Roads were terrible getting to work. The street department is advising not to even be on the roads because snow plows and follow trucks are getting stuck. I am wishing I would have stayed home. Will probably cut out early today since nobody is here.
March 3, 201412 yr So, as I mentioned in one of these threads, I took my trash down to the curb yesterday before it got bad out. Today, the garbage men come by, and I'm watching them empty my trash. Lo and behold, apparently my neighbors decided that instead of taking their cart down to the curb, they'd just put their trash in mine. OK..not really a big deal, but still ticks me off! I hauled my can down 16 steps, and will clean off the steps and haul it back up in a bit. You couldn't do the same? ARRGGHHH...rant over.
March 3, 201412 yr The Hoosier state must be flat out of caish. They didn't do a single thing to the roads over here.
March 3, 201412 yr 3 to 4 inches with a bit of drifting due to winds here. Snow emergency, school out today and most likely tomorrow as well. We have a triple-wide driveway; so far I've shoveled about a fourth of it. This old body can't do what it once did. Ask anybody.
March 3, 201412 yr Author The hill coming out of my subdivision at 7 am this morning. This is one of our nephew's pictures. He lives on the corner at the bottom of the hill. this is after it was plowed this morning.
March 3, 201412 yr Author nwo, Are we still in the 6" - 8" range? How long will the precipitation last? where do you live? I can't remember. I know we have a ways to go before it is over. Radar is showing moderate to heavy snow all the way back into WKY. Looks like by it maybe over by early aftenoon.
