March 3, 201412 yr I put out salt about 4 o'clock yesterday, it melted the ice before the snow hit. Today's shoveling was a breeze compared to the last ice/snow we got. I got lucky.

March 3, 201412 yr We ended up with about 6 inches of snow in Owsley County. It's now stopped snowing.

I got lucky.[/quote'] I did the same. Shoveled it right off today, and then put down ice melt. All clear now. My neighbors on either side of me, however haven't done a thing, so I'm going to be battling runoff refreezing on my little piece of the world.
