If its that bad there, will EKU call off classes for the day? I know they already called for a 2-hour delay 4-5 hours ago. Surely its only gotten worse since then.

Here in Lexington, UK has yet to call anything but that has always been standard for them. I've been on campus here for 6 years now (3 years of undergrad and 3 years of pharmacy school) and they always try to avoid calling of classes unless they absolutely have to. Since nothing was stated before going into the after hours, most likely no updates will happen until about 3 hours from now.

Transition from sleet to snow is now very close to the WK and BG Parkways

Forgot to put Paducah on the 4-6" snow totals.

Looks like the snow/ice is starting to pick up here in Lexington.

I guess the NWS will postpone severe weather week. It was to start yesterday. Supposed to be a state wide tornado drill tomorrow.

UK has cancelled all classes for Monday. Looks like I get another day to study for my Chemotherapy/Oncology Pharmacy exam.... rather happy about this .

Son just called, he made it to work OK, but said the roads 1/64 and 1/75 were bad. Said some idiots were going 60 MPH.

I usually kid about how we never get anything in Murray, because we don't, but it is nasty out there. A few inches of ice sitting under 4-5" of snow. Frigid as well.

Cancelled trip to Chicago this morning, just not worth the risk.

The AA isn't the best and I figured why chance it.

The winter storm warning for NKY has been canceled.

Just saw on the news that Post 9 of KSP is asking that people do not get out on the roads unless it is an emergency situation.

 

Jackson NWS also apparently said that anyone out on the roads this morning is asking for trouble. I don't know if they really said that as I just saw it mentioned on Facebook, but as it goes hand in hand with KSP's request, I figured it was worth mentioning.
