March 2, 201412 yr Well, I just went out and laid down a layer of snow melt. It won't keep the steps and sidewalk clear, but it will be much easier shoveling tomorrow when I don't have to try to get the ice dislodged from the pavement.

March 3, 201412 yr It only took me about 30 seconds to see how slick it was. Bounced off the end of my sidewalk and thankfully into the grass, not the driveway. Just a couple bruises and a sore knee.
March 3, 201412 yr We have alternating freezing ice and huge flakes of snow here in at the Compound. The hubby, kids and I are going stir crazy and I'm sure we will all be home tomorrow. I need spring!
