November 13, 201312 yr Cats played a great 2nd half IMO; I don't see this doing anything but making this team better.
November 13, 201312 yr Randle is gonna be a top 5 player in history at UK. Harrison's played terrible tonight, that was the diff, you have to take care of the ball. James Young ice cold in 2nd half. Would have liked to have seen Polson handle the ball some.
November 13, 201312 yr 17 Kentucky Turnovers 7 Michigan State Turnovers Kentucky 20-36 FT Michigan State 13-17 FT 21-2 fast break points in favor of Michigan State Kentucky 4-20 from 3 (James Young 3/11) Got to clean those things up.
November 13, 201312 yr Transition Defense is something they need to improve on. But they will be fine.
November 13, 201312 yr Lots of turnovers, terrible transition D, lots of missed free throws. Still in the mix vs a very good MSU team. Gonna be really good in few months. I really couldn't believe the transition D was that bad. Lack of hustle. No excuse for most of it.
November 13, 201312 yr If you cut those turnovers down by half they rout MSU. They make 5 more free throws they win... Talent is the reason they lost by 4. Once it all gells a team won't come within 10
November 13, 201312 yr Other stats I found interesting UK 45 to 30 rebounding MSU 15 to 5 assists MSU 13 to 1 steals.
November 13, 201312 yr Cal talked a lot about taking out players who aren't playing this year. But Polson doesn't come in and Lee has spot moment and not too bad there. I think Cal will never play more than 7 no matter what.

November 13, 201312 yr UK had some flashes of what the can become in the 2nd half, but even then they didn't look all that good. YET. And with that said it was still a game down to the wire against the best team in the country right now. There isn't a guy in the country that can guard Julius Randle man up. Not one. Anywhere...
November 13, 201312 yr Even with all the fouls it was a very good game. Cal could have fouled to extend the game when MSU had the ball. It was only a 5 second difference.
