Bengal Maniac
I kept hearing about it and joined to be curious, but it has gotten addictive to me. I agree with HB, at times it is difficult to put your tone in the posts. I am usually laughing, especially when I am called delusional. Most of my familyy would agree. I love a good disagreement, so now I don't wear out my wife with disagreements. I can wear you guys out and then just shut the laptop and go to sleep or about my day. I love the "right now" updates and scores, keep those going. It's pretty cool we don't have the filth of other social media and most really want all the kids to do well. Jumper_Dad
As a whole one of the best groups of people I've never known. I love that two of us can be duking it out on one forum and backing each other up in another one. There is a general and honest kinship between many of the posters and others they haven't met and will probably never meet. I Love BGP because it helps my days go by, these last six months of sitting around the house or being in the hospital would have been HELL without BGP...I love BGP and I love you guys and ladies too. Clyde
I've mentioned this story on here before. Back in about 2000 or 2001 I remember my dad telling me he had "online friends" and was going to meet some of them as they were coming through NKY. I thought he was nuts. I even joked about them robbing him when he et them. Lo' and behold I join BGP and meet up with some cat on BGP named h.s.sportsrbest (or something like that). Met him at a CCH playoff game when my boy played down at LexCath. My wife thought it was odd. I guess it was about 2004. 9 years later we're thick as thieves. My dad was a trendsetter for me. Qryche11
It allows me to stay in tune with High School Sports locally and I also enjoy helping promote the kids who work their tails off.

Can't have TAC jump ship on us now, right before the start of basketball and Walking Dead.
PurplePride92
To take from Jumper_Dad I love BGP because as a whole my BGP family is indeed one of the best groups of people I have never known. BGP is definitely a family to me so that makes BGP hard for me to not love. BGP defines who I am as a person to a great extent. I am allowed to have intelligent and stimulating conversation with you guys from why Bowling Green is the best football team in the state in 2013 to why the Braves are a bunch of tough guys to why Tig deserves to die to solving the economic crisis and healthcare. Every conversation I have on BGP is a conversation I am dying to have in real life in person with people but that isn't possible. Without BGP I'd probably be a huge butthole so I also love BGP because it is therapeutic. BGP allows me to be me and in my job I'm not always allowed to be me. I've been on tons of message boards since I discovered the internet, well since I could afford to have it in my home, and while I joined BGP to keep up with Bowling Green and Boyle County football I soon learned BGP is more than a high school football website. I've never been a part of a better message board and I look forward to the future of BGP. I am grateful to be a part of the mod squad and also a part of the structure of BGP. I hope to never let any of you down. I also love BGP for providing the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life that I never would have met otherwise and folks I know I'll be meeting soon. It truly is an amazing collection of people from many different backgrounds with a plethora of information. I'm trying to make it a point to get pictures whenever I meet a new BGPer(or catch up with an old one) so you all have been warned. When we catch up we will be getting a picture.(and hopefully some beers) We've really got to get some kind of BGP gathering scheduled sometime. Maybe at the Sweet 16 or something. I love y'all and I am glad nobody hates me or if you do hate me I am glad you haven't cussed me out in a PM.
MJAlltheWay24
Among other things, I love BGP because of Godot's fantasy football league.
Watusi
PP92, that is another good thing about BGP. Those of us that hate you do it in a respectful way instead of cussing you out in a PM :lol2:

I am sure there are quite a few people who do hate me in a respectful way. I'd be surprised if there wasn't. Pushing people's buttons is a hobby.
