I expect to see a lot of "so I can get RTS's incredible insight on so many issues" posts in this thread. :up:

I think that is a given, RTS. If nobody expresses that it is because there is no need to state the obvious.

I love BGP because I am a huge sports fanatic.

I'm a member because I've known Guru most of my life and loved what he had created here.

BGP is worth the time and effort because I love discussing different opinions with different people from all walks of life.

 

 

I was the creator and administrator of another Message Board and ran it for 5 years, many would be surprised if they knew what site it was, only Guru knows. I since left that and have enjoyed this type of social media and I will always be hooked on this site. great site and great people is what makes this so much fun. The only downside of a MB is that sometimes it is very hard to portray the tone in the posts, many find me very negative at times but in reality I get along with everyone in real life. I am very sarcastic and that doesn't portray well on this type of medium.

I love BGP because I get more respect and acceptance on here than I do with some members of my blood family.

I'll definitely agree that it's the people. Even the people that I disagree with pretty regularly are almost always respectful. You can have a "heated" debate here and not feel disrespected. The range of personalities here is so broad, every portion of the spectrum is covered, and I love that.
