48-21 final in 3. Safe to say Trinity is better.

It is just amazing how much superior Trinity's football program is over all the other Kentucky programs. It is very impressive what Coach Beatty and his staff are doing these days.

 

Hopefully Highlands took something away from this and did not sustain any injuries. They will have their hands full again next week. I have heard that University Christian has amazing team speed.

True but didnt Dale say this was his best team he has ever coached and I think he actually meant it. Didnt Trinity lose some talented skilled players? 48 points is a tough pill to swallow I am sure for Coach W and the Defense. They better get that fixed before the Florida boys come to town.

 

Good test though and should help in preparation for next week's big game on ESPNU.

Bonnafon looked good, I thought, as T's QB with a rather vanilla game plan. I don't think we saw him run as much as we will down the road. He has a strong arm. I believe T starts only 2 seniors on defense so they will have to get better as the season progresses for the Rocks to be good. Swabek (WR) looks to have improved quite a bit. HHS burned T quite a bit on the long balls. They have a good QB and a very good WR. T needs to improve their pass rush and deep coverage, however, HHS did not rush too well tonight. I don't recall T punting at all tonight. Beatty said he was happy with his team's effort.

Nice job by the Highlands Freshman. Tied at 14. Thought they held their own.

That was for the most part a very impressive showing by the Rocks. Strong offense without really do anything tricky or special. Reggie was like 21-29 for 300+ yards and 4 tds (in less than 3 quarters). T will need to work on some db play but their rushing defense was great. No Bluebird ground game at all. Great fan support by Highlands, hats off to them. Rock nation can feel pretty good about a convincing scrimmage win over a top notch team.

No wonder Dale won't play play them in a real game. Can't and won't run with the big dogs. :lol2: Opps I ripped the birdies, prolly suspended.

Thought T would win in a closer contest.... Time to regroup and fix some issues before it counts.

What I expected here. HHS is the class of 4A but not the Commonwealth. Rocks are top dog until proven otherwise. Congrats to T on thumping the Birds. I look for both teams to win their respective classes again. (Unless the Rocks have to face SK!)
