...Trinity's schedule let's play a little game.

The last 2 years Trinity was 11-1 in their regular season non-district games. Now granted they weren't playing powers like Fern Creek and Doss but they were playing fair to middling teams. Just for giggles let's guess how the vaunted program on Poplar Level would have done against the same teams. We can eliminate Cincy X and Moeller from the discussion as Louisville X went 1-3 against them while Trinity went 3-1. That leaves 2 games each with MBA, Brentwood Academy, Elder and Cathedral. I see 2 losses to Cathedral, a split with Elder, a split with MBA and 2 losses to Brentwood for a record of 3-9. Anyone else care to predict in reverse?

Who's scared? T has games confirmed with Cathedral, Colerain, Moeller, Lawrence Central, Carmel and Marist as well as their 3 district games and in negotiation with 1 other to get 10. That was asked and answered in the proper thread before. Here's the thread LINK. It's interesting if you can get past the threadjacking by the Xers.

Care to answer this thread's question? Would the mighty Tigers have won more then three games against the same regular season OOD teams Trinity played?

Past- no they would not have.. why look in the rearview mirror

Future, you are looking past a very good X team that is going to be coached up to their potential.

New Sherriff in town with Coach Wolford and his team

St. Xavier will be a totally different team on and off the field in 2013

So keep forgetting about the Tigers. Worry about Colerain, etal.

How much high school coaching experience does the offensive staff have?

Sent from my Samsung Stratosphere using Forum Runner

Good question-you mean like Glaser or Beatty ? As you know experience does not necessarily mean the coaching is good

Another question might be-how much a career in professional football means and does that translate into coaching. That's the wild card

You think Mikey wishes he had that hat tip back yet?

Since the infamous hat-tip the combined score in 6 games has been 215-40 with only 1 game that X score more then once. Maybe soft isn't the correct adjective but it's close.

Folks. Mikey is gone for good. His legacy firmly etched in stone.

The tigers are far from soft, however, and will show up to each and every game next year, stronger, faster, better prepared and with a different offensive and defensive look finally fun times on poplar level !

Tiger fans are so cute.

When Brian Brohm graduated that was the last obstacle to a return to Tiger dominance.

When Victor Anderson was a senior that was the best team ever assembled.

After the 2009 season the pendulum had swung back.

Now they're going to be bigger, stronger, faster and better prepared.
