Its just okay. If you are in the mood for some good Cajun, I would pick Knotty Pine 100 times over.

I've been there many times. Was wanting to check out a more price friendly place, but between you and malachicrunch I may wait until others try it out first. For now, I'm going to try Bourbon & Broad. Thanks for the heads up!

Went to the Incline House yesterday. Got there around 6pm. Not to bad of a wait (about 15 min). The view from up there is fantastic. Need to go back on a summer night and sit outside. Food was really good. Had the Prime Rib dip and the boy had a bbq pineapple pizza.

Went to Mardi Gras on Madison in Walnut Hills. Got there 1145 did not open til 100. Owner unlocked door and fed us 2 po boys, oyster and shrimp. Delicious. Crawfish boil on Tuesday. get there early. She cooks until she runs out. She runs out early.

Owners are very nice. Haven't been to their new place but did visit their truck. Need to get ip there.

Not a beer guy but may need to check out Growler House right next door to Mardi Gras. Area going thru a revitalization. The Myrtle (Name may be off) is supposed to be good as well.

We had Strong's , Grippos pizza. Comes with bacon, jalapenos and crushed chips on top.

Took the wife and boy there Friday night (figuring that with Saturday being Valentine's Day, things might be less crowded). Got there a few minutes before 6, and had a 30 minute wait. Ended up with the table pretty much by the door, and by the time we left, we could hear the hostess saying it was an 80 to 90 minute wait. (And there were some people that waited!)

 

We ended up with the pulled pork sandwich, onion rings, house burger, West 8th Street pizza, and their Grippos mac 'n cheese, that we pretty much all shared. Pulled pork was good, the burger was okay but nothing great. (On a related note, we ordered it done "medium", but it was easily "medium well".) The sweet pickles they had for both sandwiches were excellent. And the onion rings were great! Could tell they weren't out of a bag.

 

The pizza was okay, but again, nothing special. The mac 'n cheese was sort of a tale of two dishes. Eating it hot, with the some of the topping in each bite, was great. Letting it cool down even just 15 minutes, and not having any of the topping, was a chore. But, definitely enough (quantity-wise) for two people to share.

 

As Just Jim said, the view is fantastic. Definitely worth a trip back just for that. Saw plenty of other food on nearby tables that will probably warrant a return trip as well.

Love that pizza. Top it off with the white chocolate dessert pizza with raspberry and Carmel drizzle and you have the complete package.
