Enjoyed Walt's. Steaks were good. Wives filet was exceptional. My bone in ribeye was very good. Of all things had to send my baked potato back. It was very under. But that was rectified in a flash. Had a beer at the bar before dinner. Looks like they have a nice bar menu. Will return_

Ate there for my birthday last Sunday. I have not been disappointed since they reopened.

They can't keep the college crowd? Drove by there this morning. Cars from the dorms accross the street are filling a bunch of spots in the shopping plaza parking lot. You would think it would be a great location.

Read some reviews comparing steaks to Rubys. I'd say yes on the filet. The bone in ribeye fell just short of Rubys. But was still very good and at about half the price is a winner for me. We are going to hit the bar and sample the bar menu on next visit. Looked to be a very good menu and reasonably priced. Jonathon the bar manager went out of his way telling us about new items coming and insight on existing menu. All in all very good experience.

Unfortunately a lot of those students are underage. Serving them will cause issues. From what I heard that happened at both places.

Tried to get into Otto's last nite but was booked solid. Went across the street to The Main Bite. Pleasantly surprised. Pastrami artichoke dill dip with pretzels as an appetizer. Had the blackened tilapia fish tacos and missus had the pasta shrimp dish. Only misstep was dessert. Would go back.

Finally made it Bella Luna.

Really enjoyed it. Shared the portobello ravioli and the lobster ravioli. And a buddy would not let us leave without doing the bread pudding.

I've only had breakfast at Main Bite and it was tasty.

 

Otto's owners opened a new place in Mainstrasse called Frida's.
