But I will add that halfway through the first month was when I really started to hit my stride and notice a difference. So maybe the second half of month 2 I will get some nice results. :thumb:

On Saturday I did my first long bike ride of the season, 65 miles at the Clarksville Annual Metric. Made it to mile 38 at a 19.7 avg and had to pee in the worst way. Once I got back on the bike I felt sluggish and never quite got back up to speed. At mile 52 or so I got caught by a train shift. There was a group of us held up for 20 minutes or so and we opted to go around and add a couple of miles. Of course by the time we got to the other side of the tracks the train had moved but that was to be expected. The last few miles of that ride is uphill and I caught a second wind and passed a lot of people. Came in with a 18.6 average so about 3 hours and 20 minutes. I was pleased with it being the first long ride of the year. My 8 mile run the next day was sluggish but that was to be expected.

I am going on vacation to Seaside next week and we are taking our bikes. So that will be cool.

65 miles! WOW! :thumb:

Last night at CrossFit our WOD was a 20 min AMRAP of 2 Muscle Ups, 4 Hand Stand Push Ups, & 8 Kettlebell Swings (70#). I was able to get through 6 rounds doing the muscle ups. It was the most I've ever done. My first attempt in the 7th round I tore my hand right where my palm meets my wrist. That pretty much ended the muscle ups and had to switch to pull ups & dips.

Max Interval Circuit--check

4 more days of Insanity and I'm done. Then going on vacation.

When I get back I will start the program again. Looking forward to the shorter more manageable workouts.

Also intrigued by Shaun T's new program coming out soon, Focus T25!

So the local Planet Fitness has Pizza Mondays... Seriously?

Please don't get me started on Planet Fitness and everything that is wrong with it.

What the hell?

Ran again today. Haven't been checking in here but I've been running fairly consistently.

Got my mile down to 8:03 today but I wasn't running as hard as I could go. I plan on signing up for a 5K sometime this year.
