Rookie Fitness (Just Do It!)

I do like it and so far I have dropped 8 pounds after 10 days, so yes I have to say it is very affective.

The workout today went as well as any of them has.

I did learn no leg work at the gym before doing these workouts.

Looking forward to doing this again.

(Hope to hit the gym again but that will depend on how I feel after work.)

Yesterday I did my sprint program and then heavy week of squats.

I was able to get 355 by 1 and it felt pretty easy.

After that, I did the bodybuilding portion of legs.

I hope to not lose much strength as I try to lose 10-12 pounds over the next 8 weeks.

I can't read the yellow sign. What does it say?

Have my first triathlon of the season this coming Sunday. Olympic Distance down in Tunica, MS. Flat course with no shade.

Max interval circuit......too tired to post.....

Another day in the books.

I was good until the 16 minute mark and then my body got tired, really tired. On the good side I was not winded at all.

Hope you all had a great workout.

I have been under on my calories every day I have been doing this, so for me that is another victory.

Well survived the running an what not of today's testing @ NKU. Now just hope that I get a job offer here soon.

I have had 3 days of sluggish performances on some intense workouts. I feel like I'm barely getting through them. I feel real weak halfway through. So need to get the nutrition part figured out, and step it up again!

The second month of Insanity has a lot of difficult exercises and I'm struggling to get into the flow. But each day gets a little easier.

Memphis in May?

I honestly have no idea. Was just enjoying the peacefulness and decided to snap a picture real quick.

Best part of the run were the two ladies at the front desk of my hotel. They thought I was so crazy they even gave me a free beer ---which I gladly accepted --- at the end of my run.

Had an outdoor swim at the local Y this morning. The girl at the front desk got a good laugh out of my face when she said their pool was outdoors.

That it is. Pretty well known and they have a pro division which is cool to watch. Good triathlon for starters because you can touch throughout the lake and the course is incredibly flat.

You are overtrained. Take 2 days off. You won't lose anything. Just stretch out and walk if you must.
