I felt the same way. It will eventually get easier. For me, I think it helps to know what's coming with each DVD. So once you have had a chance to do all of them, you get a better mental picture of what's coming up next.

Keep it up and report back!

I'm officially terrified. It started raining today around 11 and hasn't stopped. The bike is going to be scary.

Good Luck to all running the Flying Pig marathon, mini, or 5k!

Wow!!! Day two of insanity is in the books.

I am Exhausted as I have ever been.

Once again my legs are like rubber.

My feet did not hurt after the workout this time like it did after workout one.

My brother and I both threw up(in the trash can) and then we went back and completed the workout.

Day three tomorrow after I work and hit the gym

To anyone working out and trying to get in shape or maintain You all deserve a lot of props.

For a soon to be 50 year old I have to say after I complete this I will be proud of myself and my brother.

I'm proud of you and your brother, NCF! It's a big accomplishment. Never thought that age 49, I would be finished with month 1 of Insanity, and starting recovery week tomorrow before I hit month 2. Love the results, I feel great, and I know I can do this.

"Let's go people! Dig Deeper!"

I downloaded an app today called interval timer for my Iphone, it's specifically geared for working out. I did a warm up of 5 minutes followed by 18 sets which ran as 40 seconds of lifting then 20 seconds of rest, which actually turned in to 20 seconds of trying to get the weights read for my next lift and often times wasn't enough time. Today was basically just a test run but I really liked the pace, I learned that I'm obviously going to need to add more time to my "rest period" just in order to have the weights changed out for my next lift. Regardless I just keep changing up my workout and patterns and it's really paying off a lot.

Just finished my 3rd. half marathon in a little over a month. (Flying Pig - Cincinnati). Starting to look forward to my first full at Disney next January.

How did it go? My buddy who did the race did the Olympic.

Wasn't very pleased with my race overall. It rained the whole time. Kind of miserable during it.

Water was actually ok once you got going, but initial panic when you hit the cold. I can't swim straight either.

Had horrible transitions. Mistakenly tried to put on compression in T1. Took forever.

Overall I was pleased with my bike time. But the rain made it downright scary. I braked down every descent so lost time there. Plus I didn't eat because my hands were so numb and I just wanted to get off the bike. I paid for it BAD.

Got to T2 and was scared I couldn't run. Teeth were chattering I was so cold. Took forever there.

Got to the run and was cramping, got sick cause I tried to fuel quickly, and got cold because I had to stop due to sickness. Fell all the way apart. Run course was also very flooded. Went through calf-high water a few times.

But I had a good time, finished my first half, and learned A LOT!

I haven't updated in a while but I'm down to 227 now. Kind of hit a wall and get get past the 225-230 range. Really need to work on my diet to get past it.

Dude, you did it. That is a big accomplishment especially in the weather conditions. My first half IM was a dumpster fire. You learn so much about nutrition and overall how your body will react after going for 5, 6 hours. Awesome!

Thanks man!

Try 7 hours! When I said "fell all the way apart" and "took forever" I meant it. :lol2:
