It's easy to put it on the coaches and not the entity responsible for getting it correct. How convenient "it's the coach's fault!"

 

I bet if your Aunt Tillie worked her tail off and had way better numbers than most of the kids on the list, you'd be thinking differently.

My question is...why are they only "counting the votes"? Stats are everywhere. Knowledgable people are everywhere. Records and strengths of schedules can be found everywhere. If you're going to publish your list of the best, do your homework and don't just "count the votes!"

 

I'm done. Not sure why this one gets under my skin so much. It has absolutely no impact on me what so ever. I have girls! I just feel bad for kids that worked their tail off and don't get the recognition...oh I know...talk to my coach! Ha ha!

Not disagreeing. Just been saying for 3 pages now that this is the process that has been used in the past. This year it failed. Why did it fail so badly this year and not others? Because of who voted.

They should also make it in the AP list. Not all lists were created equal due to the subjectivity that exists in each one. All very biased and all very political.

It is three pages but only two days, one of them being Christmas when most folks have better things to do than get on BGP. Some people (me included) were really shocked at the absurdity of the CJ team but did not see it on here until late yesterday. That is why some are just jumping on it now. Like others have said before, this does not affect me in the least and I am done with the subject. Happy Holidays to all!
