Regarding the "doctoring" where does the C-J start and stop? When you move-up Quick, why not correct other obvious errors by moving-up, moving-down, adding or deleting other players? This just creates more credibility issues for the C-J. One example of many is that Johnson Central was blown out by CovCath in the second round 45-15, Johnson Central has 8 players on the list that stay and CovCath has 0 players - why no additions or deletions if the C-J is in a "doctoring" mode?

 

There was at least a little consistency that could be found when comparing the Lexington Herald-Leader Team to the AP All-State Team. So much for leaving it to the coaches to get it "right"; the local level vote-blocking by the coaches must have been at epic levels.

 

The latest C-J news is very ugly to hear.

Perfect example of why these "All state teams" etc. should just be tossed into a fire pit and burned. These awards are a joke and when coaches are involved in the voting process the outcomes and final results become even more of a joke. When a team has 8 players selected yet doesn't do squat in the playoffs then as a previous post said, that coach should retire because he may be the worst coach in the state. These awards are a joke.
