This may change a few things for Beechwood....

If Richmond can't keep track of some kids on his property he sure can't keep track of a city. :D

Sorry, let me clarify. No Police Involvement where the kids were concernced. I was told the party actually ended on its own. It was really the next day when Coach Rash got wind of it that it started going a little crazy.

Police obviously got involved. As for Mr. Richmond's comments... give me a break. You had 20 kids involved enough to be suspended from football and a few others kicked off the team. This was not a "few kids"

The Facebook and Twitter Pics will be re-discovered :)

And Coach Rash finding out the day after and being so proactive is extremely commendable. In my opinion, many many many coaches would bury their head in the sand at that point.

Not a drop in high school. College, well that was different.

Yea, that's a pretty hefty cover charge for that 4 plus years of partying.

As to Mr. Richmond, being a legal mind he knows he needs to build a defense because he is responsible for any under age drinking on his property which is why he is pointing out the neighbors found beer cans on their property and Mr. Richmond believes the teens consumed the alcohol on the neighbor's property.

In other words, Lisa and Mike Schuler just went under the bus, and it is a very large bus...

Oh, you heard the same THUD! that I did when I read that :)

Absolutely! My advice to the Schulers is shut your mouth and hire an attorney you can trust.

Does not matter what WE did as teens. It is against the law.

So is speeding, but they don't get suspended for that. Do any of the players chew tobacco, if not 18 that is against the law, do they get suspended.

I am glad to see all the comments in support of Coach Rash and how Beechwood is handling this. Hopefully anyone who thinks otherwise reads this thread and sees that this has been handled the right way and that the punishments are fair. The players made a mistake. Learn from this mistake and move forward.

So Beechwood will be down 20 players? I wonder how many of them where starters?

With freshmen moving up for the playoffs, Beechwood should dress around 45-50 players for the game on Friday.

I think he has handled this very professionally and efficiently. Most of us have drank during high school or underage, I'm not saying it's right but it does happen. These kids have received their punishment and I'm sure they will learn from it. Coach Rash will have the ones that are eligible ready to play and the ones who aren't... Well hopefully they're lucky enough to get another chance the following week.

I never drank beer during school.

During school hours, well that was a different story.

Are these the students with the high ACT scores that Beechwood fans have been bragging about? :D

Yes, even smart kids do stupid things.

VOR and Beechwoodfan, thanks to both of you for being very positive with this thread as both of you have had kids growing up in the Beechwood Schools. Again I trust that Coach Rash and Mr. Hutton will and have handled this situation. For the one's who want to knock Beechwood due to success it is just like they due with all successful programs as Highlands and other's they have to put them down. Again like I said earlier it has happened all over the area not just Beechwood. Good luck to Beechwood this week and going forward this too will go away in time. JD

That doesn't live in Ft Mitchell.

It's hard for me to believe this man didn't know what's going on in his backyard. No way cars roll up and park with you not seeing something. With that being said, kudos to Coach Rash for being a leader and teaching a good life lesson to these young people.
