Hopefully some transfers go back to the school they should be going to because of this. I guess the grass is not always greener?

If they transferred then they must be at the right school. :D

I don't think there are any transfers at Beechwood. There are however several families that chose to send their kids to Beechwood High School starting in 9th grade.

I think the Ludlow city administrator needs to be taken to task as well. There were over 20 kids drinking on your property, and you don't know it? I'm calling hogwash on that one.

If it was beer, good point, then again, those solo cups tend to conceal pretty good.

Secondly, if they were drinking vodka, rum, bourbon, etc; 20 oz. soda bottles sure can cover things up.

Mix a little coke and rum, put it in a coke bottle and the kids aren't acting like they are intoxicated then nobody would ever know to suspect something was up.

What ever you want to call it! :D

^ Oh, great. You've got him going again with the "t" word.

Not at all. I've grown perfectly content with the people who are at SK , and perfectly content with those who are not! Especially today!

I am sure a few will probably end up at SK though. :D

Why do we need to name names on here? OK, they screwed up; they're kids. It won't be their last mistake made with alcohol but raking these kids over the coals for a lapse of judgment isn't going to accomplish anything or benefit anyone.

I applaud Beechwood's administration and coaching staff for taking this seriously and hope that lessons are learned by everyone involved, including the parent who let the kids party at his house/woods. What was he thinking?!?

Its not the kids at issue. It is the enabler. It certainly does appear from this :

Beechwood Football Players Suspended | Bill Cunningham - Cincinnati Reds - 700WLW - THE BIG ONE

that this was not a case of ignorance by Beechwood parent. If this were drugs instead of alcohol, would law enforcement be electing not to investigate?

Who is naming names?

Here is the easy solution to what everybody is wondering.

Who will be the starters for Beechwood this weekend?

We can then evaluate the talent level of those playing to guage if it will alter the outcome of the game.

Good luck to Beechwood. As long as all those involved were treated fairly and had clear guidelines than there should be no issues.

Who is naming names?

Did you read the thread? There has been discussion about naming kids who aren't in uniform Friday night and whether kids who were kicked off the team are fair game to name, etc. So, my vote is no names.

It was also stated that suspended players will not be on premises for the game.
