16thBBall Fan
I think it is amazing what Lynn Bowden has done the past 7 games (2 months). In his last 7 full games at quarterback he has rushed for 1,136 yards for an average of over 162 per game during that stretch. I personally think he has been the best in college football since the first of October. Plus teams know what is happening and still cannot stop him. What does everyone else think? Also the job that offensive line coach John Schlarman is amazing. He might have some bigger programs wanting to talk with him.
SLINK
Hard pressed to think who it would be over the last two months.
Walter
Chuba Hubbard of Ok St is averaging 166 all purpose ypg for the season. We can start there.
tcjkbt
Chuba Hubbard of Ok St is averaging 166 all purpose ypg for the season. We can start there. Question: Do "all purpose" yards include kick return yards or are they just yards gained from pass plays and run plays from scrimmage?
16thBBall Fan
Good question because the 162 for Bowden is all rushing.
Walter
Question: Do "all purpose" yards include kick return yards or are they just yards gained from pass plays and run plays from scrimmage? Chuba stats: 1936 rushing yards in 12 games (161 per game) 183 receiving yards in 12 games (15.25 per game) 176 total ypg between rushing and receiving. (My math was wrong on the original 166.) https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/gamelog/_/id/4241416/chuba-hubbard
