Boyd County hires Evan Ferguson as head coach

Evan Ferguson comes to Boyd County after coaching the Coal Grove Hornets in Ohio the last 2 seasons. Ferguson was 15-8 overall at Coal Grove. Ferguson went 11-2 in 2017, 4-6 this past season.

I hope there is some other reason to let him go. Giving a coach two years is ridiculous. Even more so with a two year record like that. Who applies for a job when they see the privous guy got two years? I know guys get let go because of friction between administration which is a little different.

Ferguson was not let go by Coal Grove. He left on his own. Not sure why. Inquiring minds want to know.....
